A love Letter to Columbia Street after 12 Years...
In 2013, Brooklyn Herborium was born on Columbia Street in Brooklyn from a love of herbalism and a desire to lessen our exposure to chemicals. Really, we wanted to provide a skincare philosophy and product line that is truly supportive. Since then, we have added a second Brooklyn location, grown our families and expanded our business online to serve people around the globe.
Our original sweet home on Columbia Street will always be close to our hearts, but...gentrification has come for us at last and our excellent landlord has other plans for the building. We hope it has a wonderful next chapter! Every year here was a gift, for the most part on account of our neighbors and clients who made the journey to our shop, supporting our efforts and sharing our vision for well being.
In 2026, we’ll be concentrating our energies on our Windsor Terrace location, and our last day open at Columbia Street will be Sunday, January 25. Bittersweet! But please visit us at our Windsor Terrace Workshop where all your skincare services, handmade products, teas, apothecary and lovely gifts, toys, housewares, personal care and wholesome foods remain abundantly available.
