When placed in water, Epsom salt breaks down into magnesium and sulfate. Through the skin, these minerals are absorbed, assisting in relax muscles, reducing swelling and pain from arthritis, and relieving pain from fibromyalgia and various causes. Rose buds and essence is famed for anti-inflammatory properties and help for sensitivity. Lavender flowers and essence are wonderful for calming and relaxing tension in the body.

Regular Use {2-3x per week}: Fill your clean tub with warm water (between 90 and 110 degrees F) to where you can comfortably submerge your entire body in water. We recommend using a half cup of this Soak on a regular basis. Thoroughly mix Soak into the water to ensure it dissolves properly. Remain in the tub for 20 minutes, then pull plug and allow water to drain before standing up. Follow your bath with a cool shower to rinse off excess salt (which can be drying) and replenish the pH of your skin. This Soak can help tell your body it’s time to rest.

Longer Detox Soak: Add two cups of Soak to your bathwater and relax for 40 minutes total. The first 20 minutes will give your body time to remove toxins from your system while the last 20 minutes will allow you to absorb the minerals in the water. This may leave you feeling flushed and quite sleepy. Make sure to get plenty of fluids and go to bed soon after.

What about my Hair? This Soak may be a good addition to your hair care routine, adding volume to oily hair types, and definition to dry hair types. Magnesium is traditionally used to nourish and strengthen hair and scalp. Rose and Lavender are soothing for damage.

How about a smaller Bath? Excellent to use for a sitz or foot bath to improve circulation and promote healing for vascular issues. The combination of warm water and the mineral’s crystals can start the process of pushing blood through arteries and veins that relieves stress quickly.

Children’s Bath: Excellent to use for a child’s bath. Simply use one quarter cup of Soak for your child’s bath for children under age 3. 3+ can use the same amount as an adult.

Contraindications: Dehydration can lead to symptoms like dizziness, feeling light-headed/tired after an Epsom Soak. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your bath. If you have diabetes, please consult with your doctor before using this product or any that involves a hot water soak.

Cautions: Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture, to keep it fresh. Keep it out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion. Can cause digestive distress if excessive amounts are consumed.
